What are Hot Corners? How to set them up? What are they useful for?
Hot Corners can be considered as an extension of the Assistive Touch menu. You can set each corner of your iPad screen to trigger an action. By just looking into the corner, the action will be selected.
Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch > Hot Corners. Select an action from the list for each corner
Check the video for precise setup:
NOTE: To be able to set up Snap to Item and Auto-Hide in the hot corner, you need to have your Hiru connected.
To activate the action, look to the corner of the screen you want to activate.
The advantage of Hot Corners is that you can use your actions directly from any page or app by just looking into the corner, you don't even have to open the AssistiveTouch menu.
You can start with this setting and then adjust it according to your needs:
⭐TIP: For Early Stage users set your iPad background to reflect the Hot Corner configuration. Check out our library of backgrounds for our recommended profiles.
⭐For eye gaze skill building, indicate the hot corner "pause" using a customized button & Symbol. Edit the cell closest to the hot corner with a symbol to encourage the user to use that hot corner (see lower left).

In this video, you can see how exactly to use the Toggle Pause/Resume Dwell function in the top left corner.
Look to the top left corner and wait for the length of your dwell time to pause your eye gaze. For the activation of the dwell, repeat the action - look to the same corner and wait for the length of your dwell time to activate your eye gaze again.
