The AssistiveTouch Menu icon appears on every screen of the iPad when turned on. If the Assistive Touch menu icon interferes with an application icon or a button on your screen you can move it or make it completely disappear!
How to move the AssistiveTouch menu?
Add the Move Menu or the Dwell menu to your AssistiveTouch menu.
Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch > Customize Top Level Menu

How to make the icon of the Assistive Touch menu disappear?
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch > Always Show Menu > toggle OFF
If you hide your AssistiveTouch menu, put the action Open Menu to one of your Hot Corners or as an action of an external switch to be able to open the menu!

How to make the icon of the Assistive Touch menu less distractive?
If you want to make the Assistive Touch icon less distractive while working on the iPad with the eye gaze, adjust the visibility in inactivity.
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch > Idle Opacity > set it to minimum (15%)
With this setting, the Assistive Touch icon will be almost invisible and very little distractive. When your eye gaze is paused, the cursor will be very transparent again.
